Pure Monotheism

The Jews and the Muslims practice Pure Monotheism. There is nly one God alone. He has no persons or partners in his Godhead. One head with one voice. Of course God (Yah) is a spirit so it is nt really appropraited to sayhe has a head. What the Christians teach as Monotheism is really not Pure monotheism but ahs some threeness to God as in three persons in one God.

I am a Christian but I am a Pure Monotheists exactly like Mulims and Jews. For me Yah, the Father is the Only God all alone.

For holding this postion I have been called, an ignorant heretic, and a blasphemer.

Why would such an innocent position arouse such ire?

I follow the God of Abraham in a position that is several thousands of years old. I follow Jesus as my Messiah and live in love and peace with everyone including my enemies.

The odd thing is that the few Christians down through the centuries who have concluded that Jesus himself was a monotheist who taught people to love and worship his father, have been hounded and executed. The last one was a Unitarian minister back in the 1940s.

Any man or woman who says the God of Abraham is their God and Jesus is their Messiah is welcome to my fireside as a brother or sister.

Who Do You Say Jesus is?

Recently someone asked me who I think Jesus is and so here is my answer: Jesus (Yahshuah)
  • He is the Messiah
  • The human, mortal son of the God of Abraham.
  • He is the appointed ruler (lord) of all things visible and invisble (although not in complete command yet)
  • He is the appointed shepherd over believers.
  • He is the one who sends the Pure Spirit to them.
  • He is the one who paid the ransom to free believers from the Land of Death on the Resurrection Day.
  • He is the one who by not sinning broke the devils's power (although it is not over yet).
  • He is our elder brother and friend and the first man to gain immortality.
  • He is the prophet whom the Father spoke through to give the full Torah.
  • He is our rescuer.

Atoning for the Atonement

I would like to apologize to all the people I taught the atonement to.

The atonement is a theory that says God was so angry at humans because Adam sinnerd, that no human could make amends so God came down from heaven and became a man and sacrificed himself, so he wouldn't be angry at humans anymore. By crucifying himself, he absolves Christians of all their past and future sins.

When I read that Jesus (Yahshuah) said God does not want sacrifice I was floored.

I was teaching all about the Sacrifice, and the cross, and I was completely wrong.
